Fin-Tech State of the Market

Fin-tech is a rapidly evolving market with the potential to disrupt many parts of the financial sector. In 2021, Fin-tech companies raised $131 B, 3x the amount they raised in 2020. There are now 238 Unicorns in Fin-tech, valued at $2.2 Trillion. We witnessed accelerated adoption of digital banking, payment, and trading driven mostly by COVID. (e.g. Tap-to-pay transactions grew more than 30% over the past year). We expect another solid growth in 2022 as well but our focus is on seven areas we have identified as the most promising: Payment tech, Challenger Banks, Digital Wealth Management, Defi and Crypto, Lending, Real Estate and Security.
